November 2025 Update
Level 2, Term 2 Finals
I would apologize for being so tardy in putting this out, but honestly the last couple weeks have been pretty helter-skelter; between finals, commitments, and seasonal sickness, the margin of time to write this never quite materialized. On the bright side, I got high marks on some of the hardest material I’ve had to do so far! The memory work was especially brutal, as they really upped the quantity this term. I used some of the material to preach out in Plains, TX, a small town next to the New Mexican border, which went well overall. Perhaps it’s ironic, considering the situations I’ve put myself in working toward my crazy goal, but I’m naturally rather reticent when it comes to public speaking; chipping away at this cowardice has been an ongoing project, which the labs and retirement homes have been helping tremendously with.
I really appreciate all the patience and grace people have shown me this year, both for my sakes and for others; Nikki’s DTS was fully funded, so she is all a-go with her plans! However, there was some confusion communicated to me after my last post, so to clarify here: We are not dating or anything like that, I just wanted to help the only other CoC missionary called to Mongolia that I knew when they were in a critical spot. I’m still working out my own path, of course; the next question mark on that subject is what to do over this next summer, between graduation in May and the mission focus classes in August. I’m ok with just working hard to save for a potential launch in 2027—but one can’t necessarily count on finding a job on short order nowadays, and experience relevant to Mongolia or evangelism would help keep my teeth sharp. If you know of any opportunity for itinerant ministry, internship, or seasonal work, do let me know!
I’ll be reaching out feelers over the upcoming fortnight break to figure out some plan of action, as well as to catch up with supporters. Please pray for Wenatchee and Washington State—my old community there have had some terrible floods, and they are struggling. The next post will be short due to how pushed back this one was, but hopefully I’ll have good news to share; we’re going through the short course on Small Groups at the moment, so I’ll add this term’s completed files then as well. Best Regards, and Merry Christmas!

I am so proud of you! Thank you for everything Adam! 🙂
